English-Club

Hello and welcome to the English-Club!

We are actually six women and one man and we meet us every two weeks to learn and talk the english language.

At the beginning we meet us in the Café of the Kauermann-Zentrum, but because of corona, we had to change the place.

Now we get together in different Cafés in the city.  

 

At the picture left side you see our group when we startet our course two years ago.

When we meet us, we first enjoy a little tea-time: we drink coffee or tea and eat some cake. We talk (in english) about the last two weeks and what had happend to each of us.

Then we start with some english exercises, read a small part of a novel or, for example, an article of the Englishmagazin Spotlight and discuss the content.

We have a lot of fun and try to speak english the hole time. We help us together, when someone is surching a word and we often use our English Dictionarys. We also diceded to buy a special Englishbook with exercises for everyone to learn better and do it properly. 

Our dream?  To make a trip to England - sometime !
